The short version
Mendbird should work for everyone, whatever device, browser or assistive technology you use. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
What we do
- Every page is tested with automated accessibility checks (axe) before it goes live, aiming at WCAG 2.2 level AA.
- Everything works with a keyboard, including the x-ray lens, which moves with the arrow keys.
- Drawings that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, nothing moves.
- Text can be zoomed to 200% and pages work at phone width without scrolling sideways.
What we know is not perfect
The bug hunt game on the home page is just for fun and is easiest with a mouse or a finger; nothing on the site depends on it. Automated checks cannot catch everything, so we also test by hand and we will keep doing so.
